The need for creativity has never been as urgent as today. Many organisations have recognised design as being the way to address the challenges they are facing. Some have even offered designers a seat at the table.

But is the boardroom as we know it really the best place for creativity? Probably not. The real challenge for many organisations is to develop a creative culture for innovation to flourish. We believe that spaces and the way they are designed play an important role in this. So we designed your not so ordinary BoardRoom*.

Boardroom* is a set of cardboard modules to build your innovation lab with.

Over the past 15 years, we have learned how important a space can be to encourage creativity and collaboration. Earlier, we designed a design studio for KLM in the middle of Schiphol Airport. And we designed a cardboard classroom for a school group to experiment with.

Stanford University’s book Make Space on d.school prompted us to develop BoardRoom* into a concrete product. A standard product that we customise for your organisation.
